In the original ‘Recycled Records’ campaign, the documentary only features the factories, machinery, such as conveyor belts, and humans removed from the video purpose. We have to consider the workers in the waste management and recycling system. Based on our visual research, workers, especially in developing countries, have little access to personal protection equipment (PPE). Workers in Western countries only have access to certain PPEs, such as masks and gloves and they are not trained or supervised to wear PPEs properly.
